From the Trenches

The First Battle of the Marne by Piero Heliczer, published by his Dead Language Press in 1962. It does not get much better than Dead Language. Piero's ephemeral chapbooks are weapons of mass destruction in the Mimeo Revolution's total assault on the culture.
Down the line, the publishing work of Heliczer will eventually join the ranks of Wallace Berman's Semina, the Warhol issues of Fuck You and C, and Spicer's J in the fight to get the publications of the Mimeo Revolution recognized as pieces of art.
