HER FRIENDS DOWN AT THE FRENCH CAFE HAD NO ENGLISH WORDS FOR ME

Patrick James Dunagan's new chapbook has the feel of an old mimeo: it's sidestapled by hand featuring black and white cover art (by Jason Grabowski) and it was printed in an edition of 100 by Jason Morris's Push Press (NYC and SF). It has striking pink endpapers and a beautiful title page with hand-drawn lettering and (matching) pink spray paint.  Afterword by Chip Delaney: "...most poets live very ordinary lives." Her Friends Down at the French Cafe is a book to be treasured and admired.
