Here is a postcard from Tom Pickard to Jeff Nuttall from around 1966. Pickard asks Nuttall to come up to Morden Tower and give a reading. A heady time for Pickard as Basil Bunting's Brigflatts was published the year before and things were cooking in Newcastle upon Tyre. Nuttall was wrapping up the last issues of My Own Mag and working on Bomb Culture, which would be published in 1968.

He is the author of over thirty books of poetry, fiction and autobiography, the Director of the MFA program in Creative Writing at Long Island University in Brooklyn, and as you’ll soon discover, so much more.
