Portions of Dennis Hopper's art collection is going under the hammer at Christie's on November 10th and 11th as part of a larger contemporary art sale. The catalogues for this auction look fantastic and are retailing for $60 a pop. There are ecatalogues available on the Christie's website. Sotheby's also has a contemporary art sale on November 9th. This catalogs are available for download.
Shortly before Thanskgiving, there is a Rare Books and Manscript sale. Among the illuminated manuscripts there are some very interesting materials relating to computing, including an Enigma machine.
