How many different Fuck You Press handbills were printed? Hundreds? A thousand? This one announces a book release party at Peace Eye for Frank Newman/Sam Abrams's Barbara published by Olympia Press. Great to see the link between Fuck You and Olympia Press. But what interests me here is that it is likely that Sanders ran several hundred distinct handbills to commemorate that busy scene that was the Lower East Side. These handbills do not come to light often given the disposable nature of the medium. The most interesting aspect of a full bibliography of Fuck You Press would be these handbills, which are informative and downright incredible pieces of history.
