Last But Not Least

Daniel Berrigan's Go From Here: A Prison Diary is the toughest Open Space title to get a hold of. It is not listed in Johnston's bibliography, probably because it was in fact never issued. The publication, which was reprinted from the National Catholic Review, was suppressed and never sewn into wrappers. The Catholic Chruch would not give Berrigan the go ahead for publication. Thus the offprint feel as it is unopened and uncut.

On August 16, 1967, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech in Atlanta entitled "Where Do We Go From Here," which was also the name of King's last book published in his lifetime. Go From Here chronicles Berrigan's time spent in prison for protesting the Vietnam War.

And there you have it. A complete bibliography of all the books published under the Open Space imprint.
