A Teaser

Be on the look out for a new essay by Kyle Schlesinger on a justly famous little press and its operator who has retained an air of mystery about him.

Few are aware of Residu magazine and even fewer are aware of who printed it, but the second issue of Residu is a classic that captures the spirit of counterculture London as it was expressed by the participants at the Albert Hall Reading in June 1965. This was Sex, Drugs, and Jazz Poetry before corporate Rock and Roll took over the revolution and sold it out to middle-class teenagers.

The second issue of Residu is a trace of revolutionary London before London blew up and quickly went belly up by the next decade.
