The Rage for Order

I came across this title at the local brick and mortar superstore today.  The tag line on the front is almost a punchline, but it is too depressing for that.  The back cover suggests that with this journal you can voice your opposition to the powers that be (safely limited to your parents who won't let you play video games or your teachers pestering you with lessons on how to read and write) and still maintain your innocence.  In the present world climate, nobody wants to be guity of dissent.

In January 1966, the police raided Ed Sanders' Peace Eye Bookshop and confiscated copies of Fuck You, a magazine of the arts.

The publications of the mimeo revolution, yesterday and today, color outside the lines of dominant paradigm, be it corporate publishing or some other monolith.  Get involved: print your own magazine.
